If the person or entity requesting the account is not the owner of the property, the owner must present to RECO offices and sign the authorization duly authenticated by an attorney.

If for involuntary reasons they could not visit the offices of Customer Service; the interested party must present the authorization duly authenticated by an attorney.

These provisions are necessary to protect the interests of property of the owners against the opening of unauthorized accounts.
