Roatan Electric Company, RECO, in solidarity support to strengthen the health system in Roatan, donated an industrial washer and dryer to the Roatan Hospital, exclusively for the Covid-19 patient unit.
The donation was delivered to the health representatives of this health care center, who made the arrangements with the RECO company, with the aim of improving the health of the patients treated at the island's hospital.
RECO is committed to the island's society to continue supporting health activities to guarantee the wellbeing of the entire population, according to company executives.
In recent years, the investor Kelcy Warren and the company RECO have contributed socially to the health sector with the donation of various needs in support of the health of the island of Roatan, initially with a donation of $ 2,000,000. 00 for the construction of the Public Hospital, initial capital with which the construction of the new hospital center has been executed, followed by donations in support of the Covid-19 pandemic with medical equipment such as cardiac monitors, rapid tests, masks, PCR testing machine, equipment and implements for the Covid-19 center, among others.
