Roatan Electric Company (RECO), Marine Park and Acción Honduras, joining forces, was able to donate 130 food baskets benefiting the community of Punta Gorda, located in the eastern part of the island.
The food baskets delivered to the beneficiaries contained various articles and provisions weighing 90 KG, included various basic grains, dairy food, various vegetables, cooking oils, pasta, condiments, among others. The noble work was donated to low-income people, specifically senior citizens.
RECO in alliance with Marine Park collaborated with the mobilization of donations for the benefited areas in the eastern areas of the island. The citizens thanked the donors when they received their collaborations during the difficult moments experienced by the storms and the pandemic that has affected the tourism sector in the Caribbean area.
