First interconnection tests between solar park, BESS system and LPG Power Plant

RECO and Wärtsilä engineers carry out the first interconnection tests between the solar park, BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) and LPG Power Plant system. With the new technology of GEMS it integrates the latest renewable energy storage solutions. These smart storage solutions are part of the equipment of the solar park located in the south of the island and are the key to providing reliability to the supply of electricity integrating renewable resources.
