RECO continues with public lighting work in Roatán

Roatan Electric Company, RECO started the year with continuous work on public lighting. During the month of January, more than 250 lamps were installed, which strengthens the public lighting service at the island.

This lighting work was carried out during the month of January, with an investment of more than 676 thousand lempiras in materials and dedicated tools to complete this important work, in addition to the daily work of the crews.

It is important to mention that now different areas of the island have been assisted with lighting requests, thus strengthening the night security of the different places.

During the month of January, the areas of Brick Bay, Los Fuertes, Flanco Flat, Coxen Hole, Brisas del Valle, Sandy Bay, Gibson Bay, Gravel Bay, French Kay, Coral View, Santa Maria, Cañaveral, Flowers Bay, Crawfish Rock , Punta Gorda, West End, West Bay, Red Hill, Lucy Point and Pensacola.

In December 2020, 97 lamps were attended in the areas of Los Fuertes, West End, West Bay, Sandy Bay, Spanish Town, Corozal, Mud Hole, Flowers Bay, Coxen Hole, First Bight, Milton Bight, Punta Gorda, French Harbor, El Higuero and Politilly Bight.
